Ah, it's done! I finally beat the Elite Four in Platinum, which I bought on 23rd. First attempt victory for the win! ((SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!))

My thoughts: I loved the Distortion World and the longer storyline was brilliant, but I certainly missed having Dialga with me against the Pokémon League. I shall be heading back to Spear Pillar immediately to capture my favourite steel-dragon.

In terms of smaller things, Looker was a riot. Loved the guy. I also liked that the trainer sprites moved this time. Gave the game a bit 'extra' I think. Also, I actually stopped to listen to the challenge themes this time (you know, when a trainer challenges you the music changes) and the softcore porn jazz theme the sailors had going on was hilarious.

Not fussed on Charon, but I really liked the overhaul Galactic HQ had. Especially Cyrus' big speech. He didn't seem so 'cardboard' this time around. And of course more Cynthia is great.
